The Paperblanks Midi Lined Journal Wordsworth is a refined hardcover notebook inspired by a handwritten letter from William Wordsworth, one of the leading voices of the Romantic era in English literature. The cover design reproduces a letter written in the early 1800s in which Wordsworth defends his poetic style and quotes from his celebrated poem “I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud,” also known as “Daffodils.” As a pioneer of Romanticism, Wordsworth brought passion, instinct, and emotion back to poetry at a time when logic and formalism dominated, believing that poetry should be accessible, heartfelt, and inspired by nature.
